Okay, so the folks are coming in from Texas and I think they are bringing the heat with them!! Yesterday, it got up to 87 degrees here!! Today, it's going to be 85!!! What's going on??!! My parents finally get to come out and enjoy our awesome weather and it's the hottest week of the year??? It won't get back down below 80 until Saturday!! Then, of course NEXT week it will be back to normal temps --- highs in the mid 70s!!
Now, I know many of you have been melting for months and are probably thinking "Stop your whining, you little sissy!". But remember....no A/C!!
as i remember from my childhood... it still gets down to cool temps in the evening, so it doesn't matter that it'll be in the 80s during the day. that's when you go to museums and fabric stores with your mom. :) or have a picnic in the woods where it's shaded. AND you have a cool breeze.

The prob is, we don't have enough windows and there really hasn't been much of a breeze. The sliding glass door faces west so we get that 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. kiln effect!!! We have been sweating our butts off at night!!
